The DeKalb History Center’s Third Annual Black History Month Celebration, "A Salute to Law and Justice Leaders," honored Sheriff Thomas Brown, DeKalb Juvenile Court Judge Desiree Sutton Peagler and State Court Judge Barbara Mobley. The event at the Old Courthouse in Decatur also recognized the Rev. Thomas Bristow Sr., who is the last known survivor of the famed Tuskegee Airmen pilot group from World War II.
