AOA Theater Arts under the auspices of Americolor Opera presents THIS FLAG by playwright and composer Sharon J. Willis. The play is based upon black and white perspectives on the Confederate Flag. This most historical but present day controversial symbol polarizes its more intrinsic meaning when hatred undermines heritage; black and white versus red, white and blue; and southern pride mirrors southern prejudice. The Confederate Flag stirs a great deal of emotional turmoil and emotional pride whenever it is published, posted or discussed.
